As a JCI member, I've always wanted to attend a World Congress. With three European Conferences under my belt I knew a World Congress had to be bigger and better...it doesn't get much bigger than Rio my carnival fri

What an amazing weekend we had in Leeds at the JCI UK National Convention last weekend!

We began with our friends over in JCI Portsmouth arriving in Southampton in the chartered minibus and collecting us on a cold Friday morning. The road trip began!

It's Day 5 of JCI Membership Impact Week and I was asked by the JCI UK team to share my thoughts on why I joined the organisation & also provide some insight into the daily activities of a local chamber president.

Tell us about a typical day

On a very bright & sunny Sunday morning a group of intrepid volunteers took to the Hamble waterfront to perform a beach tidy up as part of the JCI UK efforts for 'World Clean Up 2012'.  It's just one way in which we're helping our community during 2012.

On a rather changeable August evening JCI Southampton hosted its first Summer Charity Event on Southampton Common. 

Over 35 people joined the JCI team on 22nd August to participate in a fun rounders tournament & an American-style BBQ.  No matter wh

One intrepid member of the JCI Southampton Council team donned her running shoes early on Saturday morning to join the Parkrun crew & complete the weekly 5km run around Southampton Common.
